  • Uploaded documents: Files you upload for analysis or reference
  • Timestamps: When you use the Service
  • Device information: Operating system, app version (for support purposes)

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe collects:

  • Billing name and address
  • Payment method details
  • Transaction history

Where Your Data is Stored

  • Conversations & Documents: Cloudflare R2 (encrypted cloud storage)
  • Account Data: PostgreSQL database on Fly.io (encrypted at rest)
  • Infrastructure: Fly.io data centers (United States)

Security Measures

  • Encryption in transit: TLS 1.3 for all network communication
  • Encryption at rest: AES-256 for API keys, encrypted storage for all data
  • Access control: Your data is isolated; only you can access it
  • Regular security audits: Ongoing monitoring and updates

When you use the Service, your messages are sent to Anthropic or OpenAI (depending on which API key you provide). These providers process your messages according to their own privacy policies:

6. Data Retention

While you have an active subscription: We retain all your data indefinitely so you can access your full conversation history.

After cancellation: Your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.

Immediate deletion: You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting support at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: Download all your conversations and documents
  • Update your information: Change your email, password, or API key
  • Delete your data: Request permanent deletion at any time
  • Export your data: Receive a copy in machine-readable format (JSON)
  • Opt out of communications: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (service emails required)

8. Children's Privacy

mybrain is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

9. International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
